In order to groom and motivate CA Students and for enhancing the communication and presentation skills of CA Students, it has been decided to organise ”CA Students Talent Search-2019”.
We wish to inform that this competition in three stages i.e. at Branch, Regional and last at National level. The interested students (Intermediate/IIPC students and final students (undergoing articleship)) would be eligible for participation. One/two winners at the Branch level will be allowed at the second stage i.e. Regional level. Winners at National level would be awarded the cash prizes.
This year under the banner of “CA Students’ Talent Search-2019” the following four contest would be organized:
3. Instrumental Music (any kind of)
Guidelines for the events are as following:
1. Quiz Contest
(i) One team should comprise of 2 students.
(ii) Medium of questions would be English.
(iii) There would be two rounds covering following areas:
– Curriculum of CA course
– General Awareness
2. Elocution contest
(i) Medium of delivery would be English.
(ii) Students may prepare PPT.
(iii) Each contestant will be given 5 minutes.
(iii) Questions may be posed to each contestant related to topic.
Topics for Elocution:
(i) Clean and Green India – Role of students
(ii) Common defects in the financial statements of corporate entities
(iii) Significant Changes in ITR Forms 2019: Towards increased disclosure requirements
(iv) Artificial Intelligence: Adding unemployment woes?
(vi) Start-up India: New industry in highly dynamic environment
(vii) Independent Director – A crown of thorns
3. Instrumental Music
(i) Each participant have to give solo performance of 10 minutes.
(ii) Participants have to bring his/her own instrument. This includes- Casio, Tabla, Keyboard, Piano, Harmonium, Guitar, Violin etc.
4. Nukkad Drama
(i) Each team should comprise of maximum 5-6 students.
(ii) Each team will be given 10 minutes time for performance.
(iii) Participants have to bring their own dress, accessories, etc.
(iv) Medium of language for Nukkad Natak can be English, Hindi or both.
(v) Participants should perform on any topic related to Chartered Accountancy Profession/curriculum.
(vi) No matter should be copied from You tube . This will lead to disqualification.
(vii) Abusive language , obscene material or any matter that can hurt the sentiments of any community is strictly prohibited.
